Great for WWII buffs, and Martin Sheen is a legend

I thoroughly enjoyed this absorbing, well-researched series. It does not shy away from highlighting American atrocities during the war, such as the internment of Americans of Japanese descent, and the interviews conducted for the series effectively put some flesh on the bones of historical events, to give listeners a glimpse into how world events affected regular Americans. Highly recommended, and I hope to see future Audible series on more interesting historical topics. Also, Martin Sheen rules and I would listen to him read the phone book.
