Part 2 of 2 of the new grad series, and on this episode I’m hanging out with Joseph. He walks through his experience as a new graduate nurse going into the ICU. Joseph gives his advice and what is helping him physically and mentally to get through his first few months as an ICU nurse. We dive deep into his family roots and the influences that he had growing up that led him to his nursing career. We learn about his past, the roadblocks, the challenges and detours he made along the way to get into the nursing program. We talk life, purpose, and really finding yourself in those early twenties and how time really molds us to become resilient. We reflect and share the struggles of a student and how it made us understand that things don’t always go as planned. He gives us insight into the importance of really working on a passion that you love and having a work-life balance. So, if you’re ready to see through his lens, tune in, as we take you through Joseph’s journey.
