  • Running Was A Punishment In School, Now I'm Completely Obsessed | Ross Noble
    Nov 20 2024

The Running Channel Meets is where we talk to real runners with incredible stories. Each episode we speak with people who inspire us to run, and give our guests an opportunity to tell their stories, often for the first time.

Ross Noble, one of Britain’s most beloved comedians, had never heard of Parkrun until just two years ago, when a friend texted him and persuaded him to give it a try. Since then, Ross has completed Parkrun at over 50 different locations and even tackled an ultra marathon. Born and bred in the North East of England, Ross now lives in Australia, where his runs often come with unexpected challenges—battling kangaroos, snakes, and wombats, all while carrying a snake bite kit and wearing a "huge hat" for protection. Ross is also a passionate advocate for Gout Awareness Month, continuing to embrace new challenges despite an unlikely foot condition. For Ross, running isn’t just about fitness—it’s about the adventure, and he’s loving every second of it!

Stay tuned for an announcement in early December about Ross's UK touring plans in 2025!

Good one

Thanks for another great podcast. Feel free to aim for 50 minutes every week. I like all three segments equally but if you're looking to add content, answering a couple more questions per week could be the way to go.
