  • After a tumultuous week in my hometown in which the school board and the teachers' association were in public conflict with each other, I sat down with my friend, Christy Anderson, to try to figure out what had happened.  Christy and I differ vastly in our political beliefs, but public education is our common ground.  This incident in our school district was a great opportunity for us to model civil discourse.
