  • The Substance is a horror movie starring Demi Moore (Elisabeth Sparkle). In the film, she is a celebrity that is aging but is also falling out of relevance. In an attempt to regain her glory days and return to the starlight, she takes a substance that allows her to, at a cost, become a younger version of herself.

    This film is gross, so go in on an empty stomach if possible but outside of that the concepts, acting, and pretty much everything else is great. That is why Mark gives this film a 9.5 and strongly recommends it to those that can stomach it.
