We see the importance of never letting go of them and we see the importance of binding them about our neck and why God specifies the neck in particular. Then we look at why we need to write them upon the table of our heart and what that actually means and looks like on a practical level.

We look at what the difference is between length of days and long life and why the Lord chose to separate them here and we look at why each one is so significant and necessary for us. These are promises that we all want and promises that all belong to us and it's in our best interest that we have a fuller understanding of what they mean.

This verse says, "My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:" We look at the difference it makes in our life when we don't forget God's commands but instead keep them as a main priority in our lives. We also look at the significance of Solomon addressing this proverb to 'my son' and we see what that means for us today.
