  • Résumé

  • On September 21, 2001, a horrifying discovery was made in the River Thames—the torso of a young African boy, his body brutally dismembered in what appeared to be a ritualistic killing. With no identity and no immediate leads, investigators named him Adam, launching an international hunt for answers.

Leading the case, Police Commander Andy Baker and his team followed the evidence to Africa. In April 2002, they traveled to South Africa, where former President Nelson Mandela made a public appeal, urging anyone with information to come forward. Their search also led them into the shadowy world of ritualistic sacrifice, consulting with a witch doctor to understand the dark motives behind the crime.

In Torso in the Thames (Part 1), Martin and Helen uncover the shocking details behind this harrowing case, unraveling the mystery that still haunts investigators decades later.
