The case was open for 10 years. From the beginning, the most pressing question was whether or not it was an inside job. The police reached out to the public and were flooded with leads; some helpful, some not. In this final episode of the series, a phone call to the person ‘everyone knows committed the crime’ is the last chance to get answers.
The case was open for 10 years and in total the investigation spanned to over 6000 pages. Lead after lead, after lead that never led to a clear conclusion. There were two options, either it was a inside job - or someone from the outside. Against all logic, the police put down a lot of resources to track down an outsider. But how could they miss the most obvious, logical route? And why has nobody ever been caught?
