Background vocals are pretty important to a worship team, just not for the reasons most people think. In a perfect world, BGV’s will never be heard but too often they are being turned down because of some easily fixable reasons. Confused? You should take a listen because it all makes perfect sense when you know what their real job is and what the difference is between being buried because of good leadership and being turned down cause it sounds bad.
