I thought I had grown powerful enough. I thought I'd managed to tame all my enemies. But as the saying goes, there's always a bigger fish. And that means I no longer have a choice. The apocalypse began on Bring Your Dog to Work Day. One moment, everything was normal. Then the World Core woke up, and slaughtered almost everything alive so it could harvest their Chi. After that, it rebuilt everything and put the survivors in a game-like environment, pitting them against monsters and each other. The rules are different now. Chi power is as important as being able to fight. I'm one of the survivors. With my knowledge of martial arts and my special Chi skill, I'm turning myself into a force to be reckoned with.

In the end, only one rule matters. Fight to win. No matter how strong your opponent proves to be, or how bad the odds are of success. Fight to win. Even when it hurts like nothing you’ve ever felt before, and giving up seems to be the best option, you have to keep going. Fight to win.

The Wastes were just the beginning. I thought the girls and I would be safe once we made it to the caves. I was wrong. Very f--king wrong. Monsters, foul creatures like I could barely imagine, descendants of the alien f--ks that had already killed me the first time around. And to make matters worse, the god-damned caverns themselves seemed to be trying to kill us. Okay, so maybe I was this legendary swordsman with martial arts skills up the wazoo and a powerful chi gift that worked like magic thrown into the bargain. But maybe even that wouldn’t be enough.

Monsters. Gods and Goddesses. Turns out, the stories about the Bermuda Triangle are true. When my small charter plane crash-lands on an unexplored island that shouldn't even exist, it's up to me to keep my beautiful passengers and copilot safe.

Death, it seems, isn’t always the end. I was a soldier, fighting for the lives of the whole damned world, when I went and got myself obliterated by this alien f**k. I figured that was it. Game over, done. But then I woke up in a different body, in a strange world full of dust and ruins, with awesome martial arts skills I’d never had before. Not to mention a chi gift thing that seemed to work a lot like magic. I had no clue why or how it all happened. All I knew was that there were these monster girls I was supposed to protect from an endless horde of semi-human things.

And the distinct side effect that comes with it? Well, there has to be some benefit to the new rules.

The first of the trials was just the beginning. The next ones are just as dangerous, but they come with an opportunity as well. They’re all about leveling up, more than I ever thought possible. If I can help my women (and my monster dog) make it through, we'll unlock the keys to infinite Chi.
