Welcome to the Vilokan Asylum of the Magically and Mentally Deranged. I'm Doctor Cain. I'll be supervising your treatment plan. Yes, before you ask, I am that Cain. I've come a long way since I became the world's first murderer. I'm now a licensed psychiatrist. What is it you just asked? You heard that I was cursed? Yes, I'm also the world's first werewolf...but don't worry. I have it under control. It won't interfere with your progress at Vilokan Asylum.

Vilokan has fallen. The surviving students and Loa of the Voodoo Academy are dispersed, and on the run. The souls of the dead linger beneath the broken firmament. To stand against Kalfu, Annabelle’s only hope is to recover a lost relic, once belonging to Agwe, the Voodoo Lord of the Seas. But the underwater world is a perilous place full of sea serpents, insidious spirits, and even zombie sharks.

Moll has evoked the Great Horned God - the Wild Hunt has begun. I only have one option: run, and hope I can outlast the duration of the hunt. My best chance? To go back to where it all started. We have to return to Exeter. I don’t want to go to the Order for help, but if they think some some pagan god is coming to town, bringing Moll with him, they’ll have to get involved. You’d think when a plague that threatens all of vampire kind (not to mention the world) is afoot, alerting the Vampire Council would be the responsible thing to do…I was too late…and now the already-possessed council is coming after me. If only I could access the infernal power Edwin brought with him when he bound himself to me in hell…there is one item that might allow me to tap into that power: a flambeaux once made by the Witch of Endor. And, if a few people have to die to make it happen, well, in his mind that's nothing more than the survival of the fittest. If I'm going to stop him, I'll have to fight him in the nanoverse itself. But, Flat designed the nanoverse.

Nanovax was supposed to be our salvation. Death and disease, now obsolete. Until the terrorist attack. Fifteen cities in a single day. Again, they said Nanovax was the answer. The same technology meant to heal us could now be used, through an algorithm, to track us, to predict human behaviors...I'm Lieutenant Brian Goff. I received the first injection.
