Kaum hat das neue Schuljahr angefangen, steckt Charlie auch schon wieder bis über beide Ohren in Schwierigkeiten: Er wird von einem geheimnisvollen Geisterpferd verfolgt, sein Zauberstab ist verschwunden und zu allem Überfluss soll er auch noch Billy Raven aus den Klauen grässlicher Adoptiveltern befreien.
