For three years, a serial killer known as the Penny Murderer terrified Monroe, Georgia. His signature was leaving a note on the body starting with "A penny for your thoughts". Detective Mike Allen and his team tracked down and arrested Samuel Johnson for 12 murders. Throughout the trial and even after his conviction, Johnson always proclaimed his innocence. The controversial trial divided the city, and things exploded when he was found dead in his cell shortly afterward. A cover-up?

After the shocking revelation about her long-lost father, Viv, Elijah, Charlotte, and Ray are determined to save him at any cost. So it's a no-brainer for them to sneak into one of Area 51's finicky time machines to try to bring him back. What could go wrong? Well, how about not being able to track Viv's father through time, almost getting destroyed by the same meteor that killed the dinosaurs, and being chased by strange beings that preserve the proper flow of time?

At a time when Edwardian Britain seemed a golden place, basking in its imperial glory, Dr Hawley Harvey Crippen and his wife, Belle, lived among the suburban villas of North London, renting a house at 39 Hilldrop Crescent. After supper on 31st January 1910, their friends went home and Crippen killed Belle with poison, dismembered her body and buried some of her remains beneath the brick floor of the coal cellar. Crippen never admitted killing his wife and took the secrets of the crime with him when he was hanged, following his conviction for murder.
