This is an audiobook with a practical message for the new converts, older believers, and even leaders who will help each one of them to grow more and more in their walk with the Lord and to rise to great heights with the Lord. In its preface, the author Z.T. Fomum specifies that these are 11 messages given to the church in Rixheim (France) during their spiritual retreat in July 1989.

This book contains the full counsel of God for those seeking salvation. It contains two testimonies of persons who encountered the saviour, Jesus Christ, and a gospel message by Professor Zacharias Tanee Fomum. It is a timely word for those who must not go to hell. If you are earnesting seeking salvation or desire to present the complete undiluted message of the cross to a dear one, relative, friend, or colleague, and do not know how to go about it, then this is the book you or they need.

The Lord Jesus had one reason for coming from heaven into our world. That reason was to seek and to save the lost. He died on the cross for all sinners and thus shed his blood for all men. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus is saved from the consequence of his sin - eternal separation from God in hell. Everyone who does not believe in the Lord Jesus will go to hell.

Brokenness, by Professor Fomum, is a real classic for walking the Christian life with total abandonment to the Lord. After the new birth, a man’s spirituality is not measured by his capacity to preach great sermons, to cast out demons, or to heal the sick. Such capacities could be the manifestation of spiritual gifts, which are received from God, regardless of who the person is.

Many believers want to serve the Lord. Many aspire to be servants of the Lord. This is wholesome. However, not many believers have asked themselves what this service of the Lord is. It is easily discernable that most of what people call the service of God is really the service of man...The obstacle to becoming the servant of another man is self. When self is dealt with, a person can become the servant of God and, with increasing dealings with self, the servant of God can become the slave of God and, with even more dealings with self, the slave of God can become the slave of all men.

I believe that the Holy Spirit will lead me on and on, until I am able to truly say: “I know no one on earth who confesses that Jesus is Lord with whom I am not in fellowship as far as it depends on me.” That is one aspect of spiritual rest. There are other aspects covered in this book. My prayer for you, as you read this book, is that you be open to the Holy Spirit and that you obey Him wherever He may lead you and at any cost.

In the world, people look at success principally from the angle of what a person has done. What he is, is of secondary importance. In the kingdom of God, who a person is is crucial and what he does is only an overflow of what he is. God looks at success, first of all, from the point of who we are and only secondarily from what we do. What someone who is rightly related to the Lord does, and another who is out of touch with the Lord does, are miles apart before God.

People must be led. When there is a leader, he is followed. The spiritual leader is the one who has made the most progress in knowing God and is serving Him. Such a person has authority with God which no one can take away from him. No one can remove him from leadership. No one can put him into leadership. His intimate knowledge of God, his close walk with Him, his sacrificial service for the Lord and His people, put him apart from the others, and those who want true spiritual leadership turn to him. This is my understanding of spiritual leadership.

The messages in this book were given as the last of a series of meetings called leadership courses for the people of God in Cameroon. This book, Celebrity a Mask, is the last book that Professor Fomum wrote with his own hand, after almost 56 years in the faith and 35 years of ministry both in Cameroon and abroad. Using the example of General Naaman in the Bible who was hiding his leprosy and covering it up with the mask of military success, money, honour, celebrity and the like, the author lays emphasis on the fact that most people wear a mask. In fact, many people hide their condition by wearing the mask of money, women, celebrity, etc., whereas their hearts are rotten with sin.

This audiobook is for you! The Lord Jesus loves you and wants to heal you! God wants you to be healed and to remain in perfect health. Your diseases are the works of Satan. This book was not written to attack the modern practice of medicine. We thank God for modern medicine and all that it is doing to relieve pain. However, without the touch of God, medicine cannot heal. God is the Healer. Jesus is the Healer. He can work through modern medicine and He can work without medicine. He is not limited. He is God.

Spiritual power is needed today. This power is needed to be like Christ in character and in deed. It is the power of God: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Lord meant that the church as his body, and the believer as a member of his body, would manifest spiritual power in character and service. The church is, generally speaking, powerless. The lives of many believers are a tragic contradiction of the gospel they talk about. In the face of diseases, demons, and the like, many believers stand totally powerless.
