Diesmal erscheint ein Marmoset-Äffchen, und es sucht sich John aus. Da John unfreundlich ist, schnappt sich das Äffchen seine Brille sowie das Große Buch und läuft weg.

Hook bekommt einen elektrischen Schlag, als er Michael die Muschel wegnehmen will. Nur Michael darf sie berühren und sich wünschen, was er will.

Michael ist beleidigt und verzieht sich in den Wald. Dort trifft er auf Sienna, die Hook eine Schrifttafel geklaut hat. Um den Text zu übersetzen, braucht sie das Große Buch. Michael holt es ihr. Auf der Tafel steht die Geschichte des schrecklichen Barrum, der vor Urzeiten über Nimmerland geherrscht hat, bis ihn die Altvorderen in einer Muschel gefangen setzten.

Hook ist immer noch im Besitz der Muschel, und Barrum erfüllt seine Wünsche. Da Barrum die Wünsche mit Hinterlist erfüllt, zwingt Hook ihn, seinen Befehlen richtig zu gehorchen. Falls nicht, wird er ihm befehlen, alle Bewohner von Nimmerland in den Vulkan zu werfen. Dann zieht Hook auf einem Elefanten los, um ganz Nimmerland zu erobern.

Jaro stiehlt im Indianerdorf eine Schatulle mit Puppen, die die Nimmerland-Einwohner darstellen. Wenn man eine Puppe aktiviert und dann bewegt, macht die betreffende Person genau dasselbe. Der Häuptling benutzt sie, um die jeweilige Person zu heilen. Um sie zu aktivieren, muss man sie in Wasser tauchen. Das weiß Jaro aber nicht.

In Nimmerland geht die Sonne nicht mehr auf, weil ein Orchester aus verschiedenen Kreaturen und ein Chor von alten Eichen beim Singen der "Symphonie der Sterne" gestört wurden.
