"The Ice Palace" is a modernist short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and published in The Saturday Evening Post, May 22, 1920. It is one of eight short stories originally published in Fitzgerald's first collection, Flappers and Philosophers (New York City: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1920), and is also included in the collection Babylon Revisited and Other Stories (New York City: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1960).

In life they were unrelated, except by the general hysteria of that spring which inaugurated the Age of Jazz, but in this story, he has tried to weave them into a pattern - a pattern which would give the effect of those months in New York as they appeared to at least one member of what was then the younger generation.
