Die Wiener Ringstraße ist ein weltberühmter Prachtboulevard - und zugleich Denkmal einer großartigen Ära, an die verschiedenste nostalgische Träume geknüpft sind. 2015 feiert dieses Wahrzeichen der Donaumetropole seinen 150. Geburtstag. Anlass für den WienTourismus, 13 international renommierte AutorInnen einzuladen, dieses Jubiläum mit literarischen Beiträgen zu feiern. Die so entstandenen Texte sind in dem Band "1865, 2015. 150 Jahre Wiener Ringstraße".

A peace-seeking man must unravel the mystery that led to his former lover's death. Expat American journalist Sam Kramer is burned out: too many dead bodies, too many wars covered, too little meaning in it all. This symbol of the city on the Danube celebrates its 150th birthday in 2015. Reason for the Vienna Tourist Board to invite internationally acclaimed authors to celebrate this anniversary with literary contributions.
