Druid Twilight

Book Two of Druid Twilight: The Loom of Destiny continues the epic journey to first century Ancient Britain, a fictional story set in a pivotal historic time. The key characters, Caedwyn and Brianna, each with long Druidic ancestry, are at the center of a re-awakening of ancient powers that some believe will result in an apocalyptic catastrophe for the world.

Four years have passed since the fall of the Boudican revolution and Orin’s and Selda’s departure. The Roman legions continue to rage against the warring tribes in their campaign to force Britain into submission. The two Orders - the Druid Brothers and the Semnotheoi Sisters - have gone underground to survive. The edicts against them ever working together remain in place. Yet, holding fast to them will lead to the ultimate destruction of the Orders and possibly of Britain itself.

The Orders - the Druid Brothers and the Semnotheoi Sisters - are in danger of unraveling under the unrelenting pressure of the Roman oppression and their search for the three foreigners. Now, there seems to be nowhere to run. Their only hope appears to be in defying the edicts that the Orders never work the magics together again.

The Romans have ceased their war with the Druids, at least temporarily. The division between the Orders is beginning to heal, at last. With relative calm returning to the new Highland Skyhold, Caedwyn, Brianna, and Muirenn leave the Order in Catarina’s hands. The three now find themselves on the island of Eire where they encounter the Draoi and the Semnotheoi of the island. All seems well, yet an ancient evil is stirring, and before long, makes itself known. A rage festering for thousands of generations now threatens not only Eireland, but Britain and Gaul, as well.
