Life really couldn't get much better. When her friend and mentor, Buddy, goes missing, leaving behind his pregnant wife, Chloe knows she has to find him and bring him home safe. She enlists the help of a private investigator, Frost, a werewolf she shared a dance and a kiss with the night before. As cocky as he is handsome, Chloe would rather work with anyone else, but he's her best option. Together, they search for Buddy in the human world and in Rubalia, a search that endangers both Chloe and Frost and will change their lives forever.
