Thirty years of small-town secrets - now the key to the mystery is gone. The small town of Hidden Falls is abuzz. Former students, friends, and loved ones are prepping for tonight's big event to honor Ted Quinn's many years of compassionate service. Quinn is reluctant about a night in the spotlight - but is tenderly prodded by Sylvia, mayor of Hidden Falls and Quinn's dearest friend and confidante.

Quinn’s gone. If his disappearance isn’t prank, then what is it? Why? And where did he go? Sylvia is certain Quinn will reappear soon. There’s a good explanation, and the event can be saved. Quinn would never ruin this night. At least not willingly. So, did he leave against his will? As more time passes without Quinn, anxiety spreads and suspicions rise. Nicole’s reporter nose smells something amiss, and her heart aches that Quinn might be in trouble. Somehow she must help the man who anchored her through her own troubles.

Without Quinn, the town’s in trouble. Finding Quinn’s car wrapped around a tree doesn’t ease anyone’s mind that he’ll reappear safe and sound. Could he have walked away from the accident unscathed? Rumors fly, as everyone in Hidden Falls wonders what kind of trouble Quinn must be in - and begin to realize the trouble they’re in without him. Lauren tries not to panic as she pieces together the plans for the health fair. Ethan risks his job to finagle more time to help Nicole look for Quinn.

Troubles are escalating all over town. Sylvia has major cleanup to do, not to mention figuring out who and why - and could the vandalism to her shop have something to do with Quinn’s disappearance? Ethan and Nicole won’t sit around idly waiting for Cooper Elliott to do all the work. Cooper has an investigation on his hands like never before in Hidden Falls, but he sure doesn’t mind that it involves frequent communication with Lauren Nock. Liam is hitting wall after wall in finding a solution to his own personal crisis. Does he dare ask Dani for help (if she’d ever answer her phone)?

"Investigations" seems such an odd word to use in Hidden Falls. Quinn is still missing. Sylvia faces her ransacked shop. And now Dani’s sabotaged boat has gone over the falls. Are these events related or just bad timing? Everyone wants answers. In all of this, as mayor, business owner, and daughter of Emma, Sylvia has never felt so inadequate, so empty of answers...so lost without Quinn. She’s never liked Jack Parker much, but maybe he can use his connections to find Quinn. What could it hurt?

Time marches on, even without Quinn. Four days without Quinn seems unreal, yet life in Hidden Falls must go on. Those closest to Quinn are tired of questions and desperate for answers. Sylvia tempers her anxiety with determined focus on restoring her shop and setting an example for the community that all will be well again - hopefully soon. Lauren picks up where Quinn left off in plans for the fast-approaching health fair, no matter how overwhelming the task.

Will their clues lead to Quinn? The daring efforts of Lauren, Ethan, and Nicole have resulted in a few more clues to Quinn’s location but not enough to bring him home. Nicole needs to go into full investigative reporter mode - no easy task, considering she can’t walk on a broken ankle. And Jack is trying to stay one step ahead of her. With surprising persuasion, Ethan enlists Dani’s help to find Quinn, but he should have guessed there would be conditions. No way would Dani cooperate easily.

Quinn would want life to carry on. There's much to do and one day left to do it before the health fair. Adding to her list of tasks, Lauren resolves to confront the bully from her past - and is stunned in a way she never dreamed. Jack makes some interesting connections, professionally and personally, as he digs through old legal files. Maybe Hidden Falls won’t be so dull after all.

Quinn’s friends need to powwow. One week without Quinn in Hidden Falls, and nothing seems quite right. He’d be proud of the way the townspeople followed through on his plans for the health fair. But amid the hubbub of the fair, it’s clear that those closest to Quinn have information they need to combine in order to find him. Dani knows what Liam knows - and wants out of the middle of people who need to talk to each other. Lauren thinks her mysterious phone messages must be an obnoxious prank - or just accidental - until Nicole has a shocking reaction.

It’s the calm after the storm. Ethan, Nicole, Dani, Liam, and Cooper kept vigil all night in the hospital waiting area, eager for news on Lauren’s injury. Aunt Sylvia hasn’t left her side. Liam comes clean with his brother, and the huge weight of that burden is lifted - but will Liam be able to meet Cooper’s conditions for helping him out of this mess? Dani and Nicole collide with a hospital employee - literally. Was it intentional or just obnoxious? Either way, the man’s green shoes send Dani on a chase for justice on her own terms.

When Lauren’s health takes a downturn, Sylvia has to trust her niece to Ethan’s skill and ultimately God’s care. And despite her aching, anxious heart, she’s reminded to trust God for Quinn as well. Liam finally lets go of what he can’t control and decides to find peace in trusting his brother with the truth - whatever the outcome.

So much drama for such a small town. Two arrests on Main Street, with thanks to Dani and Liam... a medical emergency for Lauren...family secrets held for generations finally revealed...the rekindling romance of Ethan and Nicole...Jack Parker’s surprising choices. Quinn has a lot to catch up on if he returns to Hidden Falls - no, when he returns, Sylvia is sure. But is he already back? Ethan is positive he accidentally captured Quinn’s image in the woods. But why would Quinn come back to town and not tell the ones who care about him most?

First Quinn disappears, and now Nicole? Early Wednesday morning, Ethan is panicked that Nicole has disappeared - and in that panic he realizes the depth of his feelings toward her. When Nicole contacts him at last, her unsettling request makes him wonder what he’s walking into. Next Sylvia receives a shocking phone call, Dani and Liam rush back to town to hear stunning news, Jack’s presence is requested at a strange sidewalk meeting, and the hallway outside Lauren’s hospital room fills with commotion.
