I Love Candy

I'm Candy. Excuse the name. Mom was a stripper back in her prime and I was a client gone wrong. Now stuck behind the bar, she was eager for me to join the family business. No thanks. The only circles I run in are the ones my bubblegum bubbles make. Don't worry about my teeth though, sugar-free as always. I'm not a complete psycho. Oh, except for my passive-aggressive, potty-mouthed, imaginary best friend who happens to be a gummy bear. That part is pretty nuts. I was thoroughly enjoying myself, doing whatever the hell I wanted until a group of model-worthy bikers try to muscle in on my heist.

With the Monarchs fractured, I need to use my best moves to bring the whole biker gang back home. My best moves being reverse cowgirl, the upside down corkscrew, and the underestimated cupid's arrow. Unfortunately, my appeal doesn't stretch as far as the stray who has latched onto one of my men. A charming, cunning killer to be exact. This house isn't big enough for the two of us. I'm a bitch who knows her way around a bone, so this slutty snake had better watch her back. Did I also mention she's trying to kill me? Unless Angus and I get to her first.

The Monarchs told me their pretty lies and tricked me with their gorgeous bodies. They took the trust I wasn't willing to give and shattered it into pieces. I made a vow once to teach these bullies a lesson, but instead it's me who has learnt the hard way deceit can't be washed away with merely a stick of gum. It'll take a deep-rooted thirst for vengeance and sweet justice from the Candy Crusher to right the wrongs dealt onto me. But that's not up to me to pursue. If the Monarchs want me, they'll have to catch me, and then I'll make them sorry they ever did.

I can't tell you where I'm going, and I can't begin to understand where I've been, but I'm alive. Alive and alone, until a savior presents himself in tattered clothes and a frayed beanie. Shielding me with his protection, the promise of tomorrow seems to be within reach after all. He shows me how to navigate the city, how to steal, and survive. And just when I think I might have a future running the streets, my world comes to a halt for a pair of stunning hazel eyes. The boy attached isn't too bad either.
