On A Manhunt

What’s worse than spilling coffee all over my billionaire boss? Accidentally emailing him my answers to a sex quiz. That was me. I did that. I might be a genius, but that was really dumb. I sneak into the office to delete it, but it’s too late. He knows my naughtiest fantasies. Instead of firing me, he wants to fulfill every one of them. He’s everything I didn’t know I wanted: older, fiercely protective, and a possessive streak the size of Montana. But can he really want someone like me with a past full of man struggles and a head full of math problems?

I’m twenty-four, and ahem … inexperienced. When a blind date doesn’t change that status, Theo volunteers for the task. Who’s Theo? Just the guy I’ve been crushing on for six months. Yeah, him. Tall, broad, and handsome and gah, now he’s even got a beard! He’s diligent. Very focused. Skilled. And impossible not to fall for. Except he’s only up for a fun time. A wild romp or two. No way would he have any romantic interest in someone like me. Why would he? He’s an intense, brooding doctor—and, oh yeah, a billionaire—and I’m a goofy first grade teacher barely making ends meet.

It’s literally my job to make sure everything goes to plan. I’m really f-ing good at it. But when the beautiful coffee shop owner refuses a corporate loan to keep her business afloat solely because we had a slightly-drunk quickie, it makes me crazy. Insane. Frustrated. Turned on. Especially when I discover the stubborn woman chooses instead to be a cam girl to pay her bills. Of course, I step in, because: 1. I need to make this right. 2. There’s no way another man is going to glimpse one gorgeous inch of her. 3. It’s my fault.

Don’t date your son’s ex. Especially when she’s supposedly the town’s good girl. But the sweet, shy librarian isn’t a good girl at all. She can’t be, because she wants me—the local lumberjack, and my … wood. I’m her ex’s dad but she says she doesn’t want guys her age. Or a relationship. She wants a fling. And since I’m leaving Hunter Valley in a few days, I’ll definitely indulge her.
