Rendezvous

I was a basic bitch. My job was fast-paced, stressful, and a time suck, but I loved it. What I didn’t love was there was little time for the best kind of stress relief. I was looking for a little D in my life. Okay, I was looking for a big D, but only for a limited time. Because I needed three things. I needed someone who didn’t know me professionally. I needed nothing but casual, and, most importantly, I needed to come.

All she wanted was to improve her skills when it came to the C.I was the girl next door…with a few extra pounds. My job was demanding and kept me on my toes, but when I was deep in a case, it left me little time for relationships. And because of that, I had some complaints in the bedroom.

What I’d gained in my professional life, I’d lost in my personal one. Which meant I’d lost the man who knew my body as well as his own. The man who knew every single thing that turned me on and how to make me come. Too bad for me because, now, he was the guy no one could live up to.
