Secrets of PEACE

Nearly 30 years ago, the PEACE Project rose from the ruins of a global war to take power over a new America. Providing stability in exchange for absolute authority, the project controls every aspect of citizens' lives through each of its five units - Protect. Enforce. Advance. Control. Eliminate. Raised in the Project since infancy, 18-year-old Zira has been trained as an assassin under the stern guidance of unit E-2's Chairman Ryku.

With her life in the PEACE Project safely behind her, Zira works covertly with Tripp to undermine the project’s control and begins to see firsthand just how extensive the country’s organized rebel movement is. But when one of their jobs gets complicated, her motives and integrity are called into question.

A new republic now governs America, paving the way for the restoration of democracy. But, the nation’s transition has not been an easy one, and tensions continue to rise as some call for the return of the Project. Zira's only goal is to find her place in this new world, but with her best friend, Tripp, battling a debilitating addiction and no resources of her own to help him, she reluctantly accepts aid from her former partner - and former adversary - Jared.
