The Henchman's Survival Guide

Welcome to Big Little City, a semi-reality town where everyone who isn’t already a hero or a villain wants to become one. Well, almost everyone.... Alice just needs to keep her head down, earn her college degree, and then she’ll finally be able to escape this crazy place and find a real job. Too bad a super scary villain just blew up the restaurant where she works and her paycheck along with it!

Through guile, moxie, and a smidge of betrayal, Alice has earned her spot as a henchman for The Professor, one of the biggest vils in town. This should be the role of a lifetime, but for Alice, it's merely a means to the paycheck she so desperately needs. When Alice learns The Professor's show is in danger of cancellation, it's time to bend the rules. Alice's plan is big, bold, and seriously dangerous. In this semi-reality town, the consequences if she fails could be all too real. It'll be a miracle if she can pull it off.

Alice (that's "Iron" to her followers) is desperate to earn her best friend's forgiveness, keep her villainous boss happy, and stay away from pesky capes. (Especially a certain hero who is as hunkalicious as he is arrogant.) And one more thing. Alice is determined to destroy Shadow. The scary-as-hell villain has been rampaging through her town, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Shadow seems unstoppable, but can Alice succeed where the town's greatest hero failed? Her only hope may be in finally learning to rely on her friends. The showdown is going to be bloody.
