The Resurrectionists

When the resurrectionists of Fissure's Whipp begin disappearing, 18-year-old Allie knows someone is after their blood - or, more accurately, the genetic mutation that allows their blood to heal wounds, save lives, and even bring back the recently deceased. She's trained her whole life to protect herself by any means necessary, from self-defense classes to extensive weapons training in knives. Now she’s gone so far as to befriend a homeless boy named Ploy who unknowingly trades a few nights a week on her couch in exchange for being a human tripwire to those hunting her.

After killing the hunter who held her captive for her blood, Allie wants nothing more than to leave her resurrectionist abilities behind and settle into normalcy with Ploy, the boy she thinks she loves but isn’t entirely sure she should trust. Before she can pass down her leadership responsibilities, though, Allie’s stab at a new life fades as she uncovers a direct threat to the resurrectionists of Fissure’s Whipp that thrusts her into an ever-tightening snare of enemies. And some are closer than she thinks.

Meadow Sweeney’s future is entirely mapped out. Her younger brother Jonah will continue their family legacy, and Meadow will rule the ruthless Ruxton Springs, Colorado, cluster. That is, it was until Jonah goes missing. Now, Meadow will do anything to get her brother back, including sacrificing the two pawns her mother brought from Fissure’s Whipp to track him down.
