The Vampire Legacy [Stradling]

A year ago, I woke in the morgue with a note in my hand telling me that I’m a vampire. I need blood or I’ll start killing people. Lucky for me, Justin has been sneaking into my bedroom and feeding me blood for a year, and the only price I have to pay for it is putting up with his cruel snipes and my unwanted feelings for him. I just can’t figure out why he keeps coming back. But all that changes when I’m offered a full-ride scholarship to Justin’s mysterious school, the elite Blackburn Academy, where I might finally learn about vampires. About myself.

Entering Blackburn Academy was supposed to be a dream come true. Instead, I’m trapped in a nightmare. A group known as The Elites rule the campus with fear and cruelty. They kill vampires for sport. Worst of all... they think I’m one of them. Only my boyfriend, Justin, knows my deadly truth and he’s suddenly gone missing. The only person who I can turn to for help is Mitch Holter, my Elite bodyguard and the biggest bully at Blackburn. I had no way of knowing the dark and sinister nature of the Academy’s secret traditions. Now, my only goal is to survive the night.

The Hawthorn Group has a new leader, and he’s itching to send all supernaturals to the Alderwood Reformatory. One wrong move, and I’ll be sent off to that prison masquerading as a school, where I’m viewed as a traitor to my own kind. Staying out of trouble becomes a near impossibility when the boy I love starts growing wings and battling dark, demonic urges.
