Greetings from beautiful British Columbia! I'm Alex Goncharov, a Canadian of Russian origin, navigating the realms of IT as a Senior Product Manager. I reside in Surrey, BC, with my family, and we are active members of the Saint Herman Orthodox Church (OCA). We find inspiration in the harmonious blend of Orthodox faith, creativity, and community service. Beyond our corporate lives, we participate in the church choir, bake prosphoras, train service dogs, compose music, write poetry and fairy tales, craft educational wooden toys, and do many other things to glorify God and serve other people and our Country. Our journey also encompasses upcoming books, starting with the fairy tale “Sasha's and Archangel Uriel's Adventure,” crafted to inspire curiosity about Orthodoxy. "Orthodox Toys" is not just a hobby for us; it is a labor of love, a missionary project aimed at sharing the beauty of the Orthodox Christian faith with the world.
