Anna Mitchael is a Texas-based author whose body of work quietly, yet consistently, asks the question: How do we find our way in the world? In essays, women’s fiction, and the magazine column she pens every month as a gritty Texan named “Boots," Anna writes to those who are tired of being told what to believe and instead want space to think and experience for themselves. Anna has worked as a writer and creative director in advertising agencies across the country, Deputy Editor of Magnolia Journal, and ghostwriter. Today she and her husband live in Waco but spend as much time as they can in an unknown pocket of earth called Mosheim, where the internet is wonderfully inconsistent, and their children can roam free.
