Brandon Boatner has been used by God in incredible ways, although he describes himself as "just a kid from the trailer park, who fell in love with Jesus." Boatner was Born and raised in Texas to a single mom. Becoming an author, pastor, or teacher was never a consideration, but the beginnings of those paths were clear. Brandon cared deeply for others, often being the counselor or reconciler within his friend group. He also wrote poetry and music, recording his first album at age 16. This later led to ministry. Boatner is quoted saying, "I'm a musician, who God called to preach." After college and Seminary, Brandon Boatner followed God’s direction to Saint Louis, where he has been active for more than a decade. Some of Brandon’s areas of impact are church revitalization, multi-ethnic ministry, and creating a culture of cooperation within the Kingdom of God. Brandon received a master’s in Christian Education and a master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He then went on to fulfill a doctorate focusing on multi-ethnic ministry at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City. Brandon is Married to Julie, a schoolteacher, and has four sons through domestic and international adoption. He pastors Remix Church.
