Brian McArthur (1984-) grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and currently lives with his family in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Since 2011, he has run the Adventure Foundation (theadventurefoundation.org), a nonprofit organization providing adventure therapy to at-risk adolescents. In 2008, he was awarded the “Embracing Community Literacy Award” by the National Council of La Raza. Brian strives to share his love of the outdoors with young people through real-life adventures and his writing. He is a current master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Adventure-Based Psychotherapy.
