I have been working with women before and after abortion for half a century. My focus is not on what choice a woman makes, but that she is able to feel whole and at peace. Without Permission, the first in the Jane Smith Trilogy, follows the life of a woman who learns to attend to the emotional and spiritual needs of women during her long lifetime of providing abortion care without permission, without authority, and without apology.
