Born way back in the dark ages of the sixties, Chris has always been an avid reader with a burning ambition to write something of her own to release into the world. She has attended writing classes both online and at local colleges, as well as Writers Retreats tutored by legendary authors such as Christopher Priest and Alistair Reynolds. Chris’s favourite authors include Clive Barker, Matt Shaw and Anne McCaffrey, as well as Christopher Priest and Alistair Reynolds, of course. Among Chris’s favourite books are the original Dune trilogy by Frank Herbert, the Robot novels of Isaac Asimov and Clive Barker's Weaveworld. The opportunity to write her own stories came when Chris moved to working part-time and found herself with time to devote to fulfilling a lifelong ambition. ‘Cruise of the Damned’ is Chris’s debut story and she is already busy writing her next book. With so many storylines and ideas to follow, Chris is looking forward to an amazing journey in the world of writing.
