Dahveed Bar-Daniel is a Christian author and Pastor General of Children of Light Ministries. He has been writing for more than a decade and enjoys praising the Sovereign Lord God in all he does. Dahveed was born the ninth of eleven children in rural Appalachia during the winter of 1964 and spent his childhood years in Eastern Kanawha County where he developed a love of reading and writing at an early age. His first writing was in the fourth grade when he wrote a science-fiction comic based on his love of science and astronomy. It wasn't long before he began writing poetry and song lyrics as well. In 1989 his song-work "The Love of God" was produced by Chapel Records (now Chapel Music) and recorded by Dottie Frost. From 1995 – 2005 Dahveed concentrated his work on poetry where he won several awards. He has also written technical manuals and policy manuals for nationally recognized firms. With a background in counseling techniques and Biblical Counseling, he wrote the manual on CAP-D (Criminal and Addictive Personality Disorder) in 2006. Having been ordained as a non-denominational Christian Pastor, Dahveed has diligently produced Christian titles since about 2006.
