Danie Marie was born (1953) and raised in S. California. She and her husband have resided in N. California since 1982, and love the area--rolling hills with oak trees. Her debut novel KELLEN'S HOPE (Romance/Tragedy/Mystery/Suspense) came out on Amazon Kindle February 2014. Her second novel, Where Darkness Dwells (Fantasy/Romance/Suspense) is also available on Amazon. Her next book, MARLA'S HOPE is the sequel to KELLEN'S HOPE. Currently she is working on an historical novella set in Historic Old Folsom, California, which is a coming of age story. Danie enjoys reading a variety of books which is why her writing is eclectic. Blessed with the gift of evangelism, she has discipled many women over the years. Danie is a graduate of the 2012 Christian Communicators Conference, has attended writers conferences in Canada, Colorado, and the Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference in California, a number of times. Her goal as a writer is to engage her readers and draw them into the lives of her characters. To inspire, encourage, challenge and entertain them. She hopes in some way, to enrich the lives of her readers and imprint a lasting message of hope. Danie's family has grown since she started writing. They have a d-n-law now, and a grandson, who has brought much laughter and joy to their lives, and Danie feels blessed beyond measure.
