I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, but spent my adult life in Indiana. It was here that I married and raised my family, made a career, and retired. I started writing only a year ago, in 2023. I began by writing my father’s memoirs as a foot soldier in WWII. As I finished it, I found there was a void left in my mind. Stories kept coming, so I kept writing. Noticing the differences in generations, from the memoirs, I decided to write about a fictional character linking historical events with current. Study history or repeat it.
