Donna Bevers grew up in Whitehall, Indiana, a small rural community in the heart of the Midwest. She was reared in a television-free home and encourage by her parents to expand her knowledge of the world through exploration and reading. She lost herself by finding others in the pages she devoured, pretending to be Laura Ingalls, Florence Nightingale, or even Pippi Longstocking. Now a grandmother, Donna has maintained her passion for reading and began a writing journey as a legacy for her grandchildren. She wishes to share her love of colorful characters with big personalities and trigger the imaginations of readers, young and old, everywhere. Freddy Frog is Donna's debut children's book and she hopes you immensely enjoy meeting him.
