A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. D. L. Brown attended Trinity University and the University of Texas Health Science Center, both in San Antonio. He retired from general dentistry in Bedford, Texas, in 2019 after practicing for forty years. He and his wife, Sharon, live in Dripping Springs, Texas, and have three daughters and three grandchildren. Having had an education and career steeped in science, Dr. Brown is thoroughly enjoying a later career as a writer, where his imagination and creativity finally may be released. As he often says, “I have a lot of ideas, but not all of them are good.”
