I'm a Mom, a wife, an accountant and an author. It's a lot of juggling but so worth it. I love to be able to use different parts of my brain, to be creative and also pragmatic. Being a mom to a little girl, there are so many things that I need to teach her. In order to teach her, I need to embody those things, which is a constant reality check and requires constantly working on oneself. It's not easy, trust me, however I'm hoping it'll be worth it. It's not about being perfect, on the contrary, I think it's so important for her to see that mommy isn't perfect and in fact, fails often. It's about how you get back up, it's about accepting that maybe today we did our best and failed, maybe tomorrow we won't. My books are often about trying to better ourselves, but also showing ourselves some compassion. We should be as compassionate towards ourselves as we would to a friend, which I find is rarely the case. When we can be kind to ourselves, is really when we can instinctively be kind to others and therefore make the world a kinder, better place.
