Welcome to my page! I am Gabriela Drescher, an engineer by trade and a dedicated member of the Professional Engineers Ontario. I’m also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt professional by the American Society of Quality. My vision is to live a life of authenticity, inner harmony, freedom, and adventure. My journey is a testimony to that. My goal consisted of coming to Canada, succeeding in the engineering field as an immigrant woman, overcoming my struggles with a life-threatening illness and a failing marriage, finding my first engineering job on foreign land, and raising children while pursuing a professional career. For almost twenty years, I have been training and coaching businesses to focus on the long-term vision, set goals aligned to that vision, and work on achieving targets toward their vision. As an entrepreneur, I have provided online training and simulation games in the continuous improvement field to hundreds of companies and dozens of universities and colleges all over the world so that teams can not only learn the theory but also experiment by playing with Lego blocks, competing to build robots better and faster. The feedback has been very positive because people learn by conducting hands-on experiments, by trial and error. During the workshops, I gave ample examples from my own life to help bring to life strategies for personal development, and the response from the participants has been excellent because they were able to relate to that and bring forward their own stories. I’ve been through so much and have learned so much through personal experience and communication with others who wished to share their wisdom with me. I’ve built a family and a professional legacy that I’m proud of, and now I’m ready and want to give back to the world in the same way it has given me so much.
