Author Hope Flansburg is a Wellness Educator, and Owner of Hope for Health Wellness. Hope and her husband Sky are a blended family with 4 adult daughters, 2 sons in laws, and 4 delightful grandchildren. She spent eleven years in the fitness industry before transitioning to human services fourteen years ago where she worked with at risk youth and families. Hope started Hope for Health Wellness four years ago as an opportunity to collaborate with other coaches, mental health providers, practitioners, and mentors to provide a safe space for connection and education on alternative options for wellness and self-care. The reason education around this topic is important to her is because of her own health and wellness journey which started after a decade of emotional upheaval. While Hope spends her time writing and addressing serious topics, she is very much in touch with her ‘Inner Child’ and extremely playful. Whether she is wearing jeans and cowboy boots or yoga pants and flip flops, she loves playing outside and rough housing with her grandchildren. She and her husband ride dirt-bikes and snowmobiles, and she can be found singing out loud or listening to a variety of music that feeds her soul and makes her body move. Music trivia happens often in her household. When she is not with family and friends, Hope devotes much of her time to her yoga and meditation practices, hiking, doing jig saw puzzles, and diving into house projects, particularly their new build in 2021 in Montana.
