Ingrid Zellner was born in 1962 in Dachau/Germany. She studied Dramatics, German Literature and History in Munich (1988 final exams for the Master’s degree). She worked as a dramaturg for the Municipal Theatre of Hildesheim from 1990 to 1994 and the Bavarian State Opera in Munich from 1996 to 2008. Currently she works as a translator (Swedish) and as an author of books but is also a director and an actress.
