Jacqui Irvine-Creaser was born in Adelaide, South Australia and grew up in Macclesfield, in the Adelaide Hills. An avid reader and lover of learning, Jacqui has always enjoyed writing in all its forms. As a child she wrote for her local newsletter and then as a teen, joined an advertising agency and later a radio station, where her writing turned commercial. She enjoyed copywriting for all forms of media and at this time also earned a Diploma from the Australian College of Journalism in Professional Children’s Writing. It was while she was studying and raising her young family that her tutor encouraged her to expand upon a writing exercise and ‘presto’ the characters from her first novel were created. She continued to write ‘You Have the Right to Remain Silent’ which was published by Seaview Press while working with her sister to build their own advertising and printing business. During this busy time Jacqui also wrote her second novel ‘Your Time Is Up’, also published by Seaview Press. Both novels were lexiled in the United States and have since found a home in the South Australian State Library, as well as many school libraries around the state. Jacqui enrolled in Monash University and obtained a double Bachelor degree in writing and in psychology. To this day, Jacqui still enjoys combining these two areas of interest to create interesting characters and creative plots with underlying messages and thoughtful storylines. Jacqui’s first book, ‘You Have The Right To Remain Silent’ has been republished for Apple Books and Amazon Kindle, and will soon be available as an audiobook on multiple platforms.
