Jai Mongiovi was born in central New Jersey in 1975 where he lived throughout his entire childhood. During his high school career, he had the opportunity to take an English class with a teacher who introduced him to the beauty of writing sonnets. Often times, he would use his lunch period to compose them for extra credit in the class; even going so far as to sell them to fellow classmates so they could get the points as well. He first met Jay Caldwell at church, where they were both members of the youth group there. Jai always wanted to be an English teacher, but life's necessities chose a different path for him and her pursued a career in IT support, network management, and PC repair. He never gave up on his dream of writing though or his passion for imagination. So it came as no surprise that he should happen upon an online role playing game that let his creative mind create characters beyond his own personal story lines. He began his first novel, "Paladin of The Fates" on March 01, 2013. After feverishly writing the first four chapters and sharing his work with a few close friends, he decided that it may be worth pursuing; but once again the burdens of life caused him to focus on more immediate concerns. That is, until April of 2016 when he dedicated himself fully to completing his work. His first novel is only one of a fully outlined four part series that he plans on finishing fully by the year 2020. When he isn't writing, he enjoys reading, playing online games, and asking people to read what he has written. He currently resides in Duluth, MN with his girlfriend, two children, three cats and a dog.
