He’s an accomplished competitor – nationally and internationally, winning 1st place at the Pan-American Games, and is an educator with a deep commitment and passion for developing the next generation of leaders in our communities and our country. His deep commitment to bringing the highest quality character growth and personal development education and training to his students, instructors, staff and families is a true inspiration and powerful resource for his local community! Certainly, his programs aren't just about “kicking and punching”, but rather, focused on imparting a powerful character development experience PROVEN to develop the self-confidence, self-esteem, focus, goal setting skills, sense of self-worth, self-defense / personal protection, and leadership skills in children and families. He is also the developer of several programs custom-tailored for specific results, such as the Falling Safely workshop – designed to teach people of all ages how to fall safely after his own mother, Barbara fell and hit her head, ending up in the ICU unconscious for 3 weeks. These workshop were featured on Channel 2 News here in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Roadruck is also a published author, with several books to his credit: The Kung Fu Kitties: The Adventure Begins, which mixes the real-life rescue of a stray cat off the street with the life-lessons offered through the martial arts Your Best Child Ever: Is This Game Worth Winning, a money-back guaranteed parenting book written at the time he wasn't married, wasn't dating, and didn't have any kids of his own. Bullyproof vol 3 - he was a contributing author to this continuing series on bully prevention.
