Having raised and trained dogs of various breeds—and even bred AKC-registered Cocker Spaniels and Rottweilers—Jessica understands firsthand what works and what doesn’t when it comes to canine behavior. Her storytelling extends beyond novels and nonfiction. Jessica’s short stories have been published in the Space Coast Writers’ Guild anthologies, and she is currently compiling a collection of her own. Each of her stories delivers a memorable ending that lingers with readers long after they turn the last page. A retired high school counselor, Jessica spent her career guiding and supporting young people, a passion that has shaped both her fiction and nonfiction writing. She lives in Titusville, Florida, with her husband and their golden doodle, Charlie, who faithfully keeps her company while she writes.
