Hello! I'm Joe Boozell, I've worked in sports media for a decade as a writer, editor and content strategist. I took an unusual approach to writing my debut novel, Misfire: I co-wrote it with AI. After mapping out the story, I fed elaborate (seriously, so elaborate) prompts to ChatGPT, which would spit out good or bad results depending on the day. From there, I edited and tweaked the responses relentlessly to complete the final version of Misfire. Think Moneyball meets Black Mirror, with a wannabe Ted Lasso as the protagonist.
