John Hallcock was born in Charles City, Iowa, raised in Westminster, Colorado and now lives in Tucson, Arizona. He became a Christian in 1975. After many years of delving in and out of churches, his faith became lukewarm. It wasn't until 2002 when he rededicated his life to Christ, that he began to grow stronger spiritually. He dedicated most of his free time to studying the scriptures and listening to Bible teaching by outstanding pastors such as; Chuck Smith, Skip Heitzig, Greg Laurie, and Robert Furrow. The Holy Spirit began to reveal a sense of understanding and wisdom. When his oldest daughter was tragically killed in a single-car accident in January of 2007, John was able to bear the grief with his strong faith and the peace of God. It was shortly after her death that John decided to write "So you're a Christian... Now What?" Not wanting anyone who had decided to follow Jesus to remain in a murky understanding of their new faith. This book guides the new Christian through many of the questions regarding their faith. His first novel, "A Light Has Dawned" was just re-published as a second edition with an Epilogue added and is available on Amazon.com, Audible, and iTunes. He is currently writing the sequel to "A Light Has Dawned", and is due out sometime mid to late 2022.
