I received an Electrical Engineering degree from California State University Long Beach, where I began writing short stories and terrible movie scripts between morning lectures and afternoon labs. My engineering background infuses my science fiction with technical authenticity, while my love of classic space opera keeps the action and adventure front and center. Authors like Jim Butcher, Jack Campbell, and David Weber have deeply influenced my approach to blending complex characters with pulse-pounding action. When I'm not crafting tales of interstellar conflict, you'll find me tinkering with motorcycles (where the best plot solutions often come to me), or unwinding with video games that inspire new story ideas. I now live in California with my wife and two dogs, who patiently listen to my plot ideas during our daily walks. I love SciFi, Fantasy, Techno Thrillers and of course, Zombies.
