I live in the beautiful county that is Yorkshire and I am lucky enough to have my horses at home with me. I have three essentially grown up children, four dogs and two cats. I’ve been writing since I was a child (I’m now well into middle age). I found, though, that with children and a day job, my writing took a back seat for many years. Whilst I’ve had some small pieces published on the internet in the past, Planet Fran is my first full-length novel. I started to learn to ride later in life and, whilst the storyline is entirely fictional, the basis of Fran’s exploits are all well-founded in reality (although the toilet scene was something I most definitely didn’t do)!
